I liked every detail about my enjoyable 3 nights stay here. The rooms were spotless and brand-new with 2 beds kept by the responsive staff. The location was magnificent, very close to Sweetwater Marsh Swamp.

Motel is right next to the 5 freeway and close to restaurants.

Strange smell in the room, bad smell in the elevator. I decided I would take the stairs from then on.

We loved the cute atmosphere and the pet-friendly policy allowed our non-service dog to enjoy the stay too. The quick access to nearby attractions was a plus, and the kids especially enjoyed the cable programming available for entertainment.

In my wife's opinion, noise control improvements would help families with children.

Location. Heated floor in the bathroom.

We took a handicape room because it was one of 2 last rooms available. Old furnishings. Uncomfortable bed. There were no hooks to hang anything up in the bathroom. Also there were no shelves on which to place toiletries. Had to use the edge of the bathtub.

The hotel is exactly what you can expect of Motel 6: Room is fine, clean and ok.However, Chula Vista is not San Diego, so you need to ride the Trolley (which stops next to the hotel) to go to the Old Town or Downtown.

Hotel is behind a McDonald's and very close to the highway, location could be better.
